Reflections on my Second Semester in the VSEM Program
As the final bells ring on my second semester in the Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management (VSEM) program, I’m taking a moment to breathe and look back. If the first semester was about finding my footing, this term was about running at full speed. Between high-stakes consulting projects, professional growth, and hands-on industry experience, the last few months have been a masterclass in the business of play. From the DACH Region to the Savannah Bananas The academic rigor this semester pushed our cohort to think like global executives. One of my primary focuses was a global marketing project for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , where my group developed a strategic framework to expand the Bucs' brand presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
